Manufactured in one size:
- Frame footprint of 5'0" (1520mm) x 10'3" (3150mm), requiring a ground space of 5'6" (1680mm) x 11'8" (3555mm) **
- Suitable for covering multiple bikes or a combination of bicycle and tricycle.
** additional length is needed to allow the frame to lie flat when fully open.
THE FRAME:
- The tubular part of the frame is constructed with 3/4" square mild steel tube 1/16" thick.
- Square tube provides a more rigid structure than round tube.
- The hinge assembly is made with 1/8" thick steel plate.
- The entire structure is totally galvanised.
- If you are using your folding garage on a concrete base we can supply you with ground fixing bolts to hold the frame firmly down.
- To use one of these folding garages on other surfaces simply sink small concrete footings into the ground to provide fixing points for the ground fixing bolts.
- A security clamp can be supplied made from heavy duty galvanised steel. Secure your bicycles with a padlock.
THE COVERING:
- The covering is a breathable polyester, 300D high strength, woven textile, with an unintrusive olive green colour.
- Breathability is ensured by an, approximately, 2" gap all round between the hem of the cover and the frame.
- This gap promotes a good draft at ground level, ensuring the Folding Garage can deal with high humidity weather conditions.
